MAXIMUM GRIP AND TRACTION FOR STEEP ASCENTS

Splitboard skins with maximum grip and traction ideal for steep ascents and icy skin tracks. High-traction nylon plush material for durability and versatility with stout materials and connectors.

The splitboard-specific components including tip connector with one fixed and one articulating hand, camming tail connector, and pre-cut straight edge combine for a secure, lightweight connection on most board shapes. Eliminating the need for difficult positioning and hard pulling to affix the tail strap, the new SPLITBOARD+ tail connector features a straight edge to line up on your board and a simple camming clip that requires very little effort and will hold the tail strap in place with confidence.

The sizing curve for the SPLITBOARD+ skins reflects real user needs and positions the most popular board lengths in the middle of a size. Removable rip strip reduces skin-to-skin adhesion, making it easier to pull apart skins. If your glue gets contaminated on an epic traverse, you can remove the strip for extra adhesion.

Having problems fitting the tail clip to swallow-tailed boards? If you use a swallow-tailed board, you can try switching the left and right tail clips to grab the curved outside of your board. Or you can try retrofitting your skins with G3 Twin Tip Connectors

Love it. A diagram explaining the cutting procedure would have been good. Also wasn’t sure how tight to make the back strap and how the rubber strap worked with the metal clip but figured it out thru trial and error. No issues with slippage on steep uphill climbs anymore. Yay! Glide was better than I expected.

Good all round skins

Great for all sorts of conditions, glide well yet grippy even on steep stuff.

2023/24 S/M no longer fits 162 boards

Love these skins. I own a pair for each of my three splits. I don't notice much difference in glide versus previous Pomocas (supposedly great for glide) I've owned, so long as I keep them waxed.
But ... Why don't this year's S/M fit 160-162 boards like they used to.
I have an older pair for my 162 Hometown Hero and a older pair for my Mind Expander 162. They fit fine, with enough skin behind the boot to grip on steeper skin tracks.
Bought a pair of 2023/24 S/Ms for a 160 2022 Hovercraft and they're too short. Much less skin behind the boot, and not nearly enough to get anywhere near the rear shovel/contact point.
I slide out on skin tracks and kick turns that aren't a problem with the same skins on my other boards - even the rockered Mind Expander.
I think it's due to the shorter plastic tip attachment piece they've used.

S/M really doesn't "fit up to 162cm"

Size S/M isn't long enough for a 162 board. Too much tail is left uncovered for the skins to be effective on steep skintracks. Additionally the front tip connector plastic component is much shorter than on previous years' models. This contributes to the overall shortness of the skins and puts a lot of skin forward of the nose shovels where it's not needed.
