BUILT FOR COLD AND DRY CONDITIONS
The ideal all-purpose, go-anywhere climbing skin built for cold and dry conditions. A mix of mohair for optimal glide and nylon for added durability.
New tip connector with extended TPU tip and self-aligning stainless-steel hands give a secure, lightweight connection and superior glide while trailbreaking. G3's low profile, elongated tail strap makes transitions fast and easy. The refined camming clip stays positioned on the ski, reduces wear and allows for easy adjustments. Removable rip strip reduces skin-to-skin adhesion, making it easier to pull apart skins. If your glue gets contaminated on an epic traverse, you can remove the strip for extra adhesion.

Purchased new from G3 website in Sept 2020. Good grip, good glide, overall great feeling skins while skiing. However the glue has deteriorated to the point where the skins are barely usable after 30 days of skiing. Skins have always been stored properly and glue is not dirty or lumpy, simply has very little stick. I have submitted for warranty and hope they will be replaced.
Hi Kristofer, thanks for reaching out. I see that your warranty claim was approved and a new pair of skins are on their way to you. Happy touring!
My favorite skins for cold fast powder day skinning. Not for wet or icy, use Alpinist Grip for those days. Zero issues after 25+ days over two winters.
I bought these skins in the begning of the 19/20 season and really liked the grip and glide! I have done what G3 recomend to do with the skins (storage and dry them) but the glue got lumpy after just a couple of months use.. Maybe there was only a problem with my set? You should buy them at your local shop so they can help you with repair or warranty or you will be great at ironing your skins.
