Impressive handsome looking set of poles. Kind of gangster looking. Feel solid. Haven’t used yet. Feel like a nice swing weight. Feel fairly stiff. I don’t like a flexy pole. Lots of grip down the pole.

The removable wrist straps through are very difficult to get off. I’ve got strong hands/fingers/thumbs and haven’t been able to pinch the tabs in enough yet to pull the strap out. Just can’t do it. And that’s in the warm house. Couldn’t imagine out in the cold. Not sure if there is a trick or something I’m doing wrong.
Not sure if these will “quick release” if they are on my wrist and the pole gets stuck and I keep going. Lol

I don’t really use the straps anyways.

Generally happy but could use a couple tweaks

I have always been impressed with the durability of my old Carbon Vias for whacking tree branches and beating down the snow when trail breaking. I expect the new ones will perform as well over the long term.

Love the long rubber grips on these poles with the bump that makes choking up easy on the side hills.

The long hooks on the handles make pulling my toe pieces up a breeze. They are also handy for hooking rope between branches around the back side of trees to set up the ridgeline on a kitchen tarp.

The baskets nestle well when stacking poles together but I love being able to bundle the poles and skis together by clicking the poles into left and right sides of the toe and heal pieces. Unfortunately the basket holes are too far apart so they separate when doing this. My old Carbon Vias did that better with wider spacing in the basket holes.

The Velcro spacing on the leashes doesn't allow a tight fit around the hands for poling XC style across the flats.
