G3’S TOUGHEST ADJUSTABLE TWO-PIECE SKI POLE
The lightweight and exceptionally durable VIA is packed with features designed for backcountry use and built to outlast the demanding abuse of mountain travel.
Features an ergonomic dual-density plastic grip shaped for comfort. The QuickFlick Utility Tab flicks heel lifts and buckles with ease. Also aids in precise pole plants. Hard plastic eyelet yields one of 2 attachment points for drying gloves or attaching tent lines.
The included backcountry strap is comfortable, form fitting, and easily removable for skiing in avalanche terrain. And the all-mountain basket is the perfect size (85 mm) and shape to tackle any snow condition and especially suited for steep and technical terrain. Material is stiff enough to manipulate bindings.
Every aspect has been thought out, with a lower side hill touring grip. The burly forged Aluminum lever with a simple and easy to use offset cam gives you a reliable and sturdy connection between pole sections.

These poles are so beefy they will not break on you. I had my first pair for 5 years and only swapped to these ones for the colour. The long grip makes it easy to move adjust your hand position easily.
I also love the integration with G3 bindings to both carry your poles and easily clip up into lock mode.

Clamps on pole does not close even if adjusted! The problem is with the clamps, they are too small and don’t close properly. This product has a manufacturing problem! I’ve been to several ski shops and none could fix this problem.

I found the ergonomic dual-density plastic grip shaped very comfortable and the QuickFlick Utility Tabs we’re so handy for flipping heel risers and locking the toe piece into climbing mode. The lower grip position was also very nice while trying to skin up some technical terrain. 100% satisfied!

Have been using these poles for a week now. For a reasonable price, they just work. I prefer to go leashless and the leashes go on and off easily (in a good way), the handle is comfortable and practical for flipping binding parts etc. The section on the pole for grabbing when offset is long grippy warm and comfortable.
I also used the carbon version and I don't think the extra money is worth it for the carbon. Haven't used the basket in deep powder unfortunately but they seem fine.
Previously had Black Diamond Traverse which the airline lost...
J
I love these poles. They're very light and I've found them to be strong and durable. The adjustability is handy even for resort skiing because anyone in our family can pick them up and adjust them to their perfect length.

These poles are great for both uphill and downhill. Good ergonomic grip. Wrist straps are easy to adjust. The locking mechanism feels really solid. Powder baskets are very well sized. Overall, I’m satisfied with the design and functionality. I might upgrade to the carbon version in the future for lighter weight.

One thing about G3, you can depend on its great quality and durability
B
High quality, great features, pole length is quickly and easily adjusted, and I use the grip regularly to adjust my risers,
C
Good, sturdy poles. Easily adjustable. Good grips down the shaft for holding at different positions. Just used them for a week backcountry in Wells-Gray Park. Much better than brittle carbon fibre!
B
It took three years of staring at the G3 Via poles. Who knows how many times I put them in my cart but I could never get myself to buy them. I've been skiing with random leftover poles for so long it was tough to reward myself with a brand new set. Well, it turns out these are the nicest, most well balanced poles I've ever used. To top it off, they feel bomber. They are light yet still feel really strong. Very Happy!
D
Just what I was looking for, strong and lightweight.
G
I love the clip for removing wrist straps as we usually have to cut them off or the dangle. The handle improvement works better for flipping risers. Thanks G3

Had a pair for 7yrs working patrol. They are beaten and bent) my fault in a crash). Time for a new pair and to put these on the spare rack.
n
Great new poles for me! Durable and lightweight. They work great with my 22designs Lynx bindings( NTN).

These poles are a significant improvement over my previous adjustable and collapsible poles, they have more strength both laterally and horizontally. The rubber grips below the main handle make side hilling without gloves (useful when it's warm and I don't need gloves) much more comfortable.
I also really like the easily removable straps. I never use straps in the backcountry as they are an avalanche hazard.

Go Canadian! Issues 0. Customer service 10/10. Ease of use on website 10/10. Skins have been working great with no issue.
G
I Have wrecked other poles during some of my garage sale crashes - these poles are more rugged and can handle the action. Comfortable on the hands with the extended grip.
K
Beuatiful colourway and nice updated straps (wieht place to put your name, always handy). I always find the baskets very challanging to put on however I know this makes them even harder to come off in the pow. Stoked to get out in the BC backcountry.
