Maximize the life of your skins by protecting and preserving the glue. A great solution for long-term and off-season storage.

At 90mm wide, Skin Savers do not need to fully cover the full width of the adhesive on your skins. The edges of your skins adhering adhesive to adhesive will help protect against excess air drying out the adhesive over time.

To use your Skin Savers, you can either cut it in half and fold each skin around it, or sandwich the one Skin Savers between your two skins.

Glad to have them

I haven't really gotten them out to use yet, but I'm going to be hanging up my skis in another couple of months. I'll be glad to have these guys when I store my skins for the summer.

Skin saver.

Like the ski saver but tough it was coming as in pairs but surprisingly it came one sheet per pack. But it look rugged.

Thanks for your review Serge! To use your Skin Savers, you can either sandwich the one Skin Savers between your two skins or you can cut it in half and fold each skin around each half. Creating that seal, by having your skins adhering adhesive to adhesive, will help protect against excess air drying out the adhesive over time. Happy touring!

Saving my skins

I like to keep my skins in a cool environment when they are not in use. After drying them out I find the glue super tacky. The skin savers work great to keep my skins from being totally welded together during storage. When I go out for my next tour I don’t have to fight with my skins to pull them apart before putting them on my skis.

Splitboards skin saving

For those not taking the time to read how wide these (like myself) will find that they are likely significantly narrower than your splitboard ski width.. meaning that if you just reglued your skins (like i did) you’ll be immediately in the situation where you glue your new glue back to itself.
Not the end of the world (apparently)… definitely unfortunate yohr first time out. But good to mention nonetheless. Im giving a rating of 4 on this product as i dont believe a wider option is available which i would have gone for. Other than that. The skin savers save skins… as anticipated
