Best Bindings Ever

I recently bought a second pair of Ion 12's because I liked my first pair so much and wanted to set up a new pair of skis as primarily in resort for this season. My first pair has 50+ days with no issues in all kinds of conditions. Got a killer off season deal. Shop now.

Happy Medium

Must have 8+ years on my ION 12's - never any issues. Maybe not the lightest, but for me very durable - hits a sweet spot. I use for morning area uphill laps, lots of days in the backcountry, and couple dozen full on days of area skiing (I do prefer Tectons/Shifts for that). The ski crampon is also great. Can don or remove with the ski on. Currently mounted on RipStick 96.

G3 A good company with great products

I have been skiing on G3 bindings and skins for a lot of years. I get about 100 days of skiing each year and 90% is lift served on AT equipment. I just bought my 3rd pair of ION 10 bindings. I remember being apprehensive about safety and durability when I bought the first pair, but the ION has been reliable and an outstanding performer in all conditions from East Coast ice to West Coast powder. I particularly enjoy skiing on light weight equipment both uphill and downhill. They release when they should and don't release when I need them to stay on my skis. These binding have survived a lot of use and abuse. My friends kid me about taking so long to get into my bindings and it does take me few seconds longer than stepping into alpine bindings but I'm glad not to be lugging those alpine bindings all over the mountain.

Happy so far

I bought these bindings to mount on my “Dad” skis. Mostly for resort use with some occasional side country. I’ve decided I like skiing in my lightweight boots as opposed to my traditional resort boot. The bindings feel solid and have a good feeling to the ski. I skied the range of gnarly groomers to choppy off piste terrain and they have performed as I expected. I have not tried touring with them yet, and the brake is a little unfamiliar to me coming from Dynafit rotations and ATKs, but it seems to have a good mechanism. And, you can’t beat this price!
