Glue Renew is easier than I thought

Just redid my skins using G3's Glue Renew. Was not messy to remove the old glue and using the Glue Renew sheets was pretty easy.
Only suggestion is to take your time when heating up the Glue Renew sheets to make sure the glue melts completely and adheres well to the skins.

Dont forget to remove the plastic

Sadly, I failed to remove the plastic liner before ironing. Now I have to repeat. Some clarity on the plastic liner, with printed info "remove plastic liner" might be helpful to prevent this from repeat for those less inclined to thoroughly read directions.

Didnt work

Seems the glue doesnt melt properly, mine got glued to the backing paper more than skin. Feels more like a double sided tape. Package instructions recommend much lower degrees Celsius than instruction video on youtube. My setting was in between. Are there several versions of this? Did I get bad batch? Hard to tell, but skins are not possible to use after this treatment 😐

Be careful, but it works

First of all, if you watch the tutorial on YouTube and follow carefully all the steps and tips, it is going to work. It is not easy nor fast, but you can save a little bit of money compare to buying new skins.
That being said, on their product's description, G3 writes to cover the skins with "long sections of old newspaper". Do not attempt that (see results below). Maybe something was wrong with my newspaper (color or not old enough lol), but I guarantee that using Parchment paper is much more effective and painless.
The other thing is that I did one skin, than the other one, so I could learn from my mistakes on the first one.
You can see on the image with the white sheet, that the result was not great. Did I ironed it to long? Did it burned? I really don't know, but it took me an hour just to peel off the glue paper adhesive that stick to it and I was not satisfied about some spots. You can see that my first attempt shows great results, sticky and clean. Will see how long it handles!

Worked great

Took me about 45 minutes to clean and re-glue a set of skins on my first try.
