Like any ski company, most of our days are spent thinking about the ins and outs of ski design, binding innovations, the latest snow conditions, top sheet graphics, and basically anything else that has to do with getting out on the fluffy white stuff and charging hard. But here atÊG3, we also make sure that we take the time to give back when we can, and what better way is there than to help share the sport we love so much with those who might never otherwise experience it? We can't imagine a more fulfilling and fun way to support our community, so we jumped at the opportunity to take part in this year'sÊVASS Cup later this week.Ê VASS, which stands for Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports, is an organization that teaches people with disabilities how to ski and snowboard. They train everyone from first-timers to advanced adaptive racers, and this Thursday, they are holding the VASS Challenge Cup at Grouse Mountain. The event is a competition in which three skier/snowboarder volunteers are grouped with a disabled skier/snowboarder for a fun team race. Dave Norona, G3's team manager and VASS volunteer, will be helping out at the event and will also be around to auction off a pair of Tonics, marked with the NoronaLife logo, which G3 has donated to help raise money for the organization. So check out this video Dave created of a past VASS Cup. These skiers are so inspiring and their stories are incredibleÑwe are just glad to be able to be a part of such an awesome day.
