BUILT FOR COLD AND DRY CONDITIONS
The ideal all-purpose, go-anywhere climbing skin built for cold and dry conditions. A mix of mohair for optimal glide and nylon for added durability.
The stiff material of the ALPINIST+ tip creates a rigid platform that keeps snow from creeping under the skin and extends the use of your adhesive.
New tip connector with extended TPU tip and self-aligning stainless-steel hands give a secure, lightweight connection and superior glide while trailbreaking. G3's low profile, elongated tail strap makes transitions fast and easy.
The refined camming clip stays positioned on the ski, reduces wear and allows for easy adjustments. Removable rip strip reduces skin-to-skin adhesion, making it easier to pull apart skins. If your glue gets contaminated on an epic traverse, you can remove the strip for extra adhesion.

Really like the look and features on the Alpinist+ Glide skins.
The extra tip feature saves on weight and there is less skin to slow you down while still providing the necessary grip where it is needed.
Thanks for your review! Glad to hear you're enjoying your skins.
I hava a question
I have the black crows anima in size 189 and my skins are size L they should fit fine the Lengt is perfect but the tip conetcor is to tight does not fit on the skies I was thinking to bend the tip but I am afraid to break the thing what should I do?
Hi Filip, please email our Customer Experience Team at email@example.com and they will be happy to help you get sorted out. Leave the skin protector sheets on the skins, in case it’s recommended you exchange for another size or need to return them. Thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback!
My favorite skins for cold fast powder day skinning. Not for wet or icy, use Alpinist Grip for those days. Zero issues after 25+ days over two winters.
Great skins. Ordered my second pair. Unfortunately the sizing chart on the website is incorrect instructing to round up to the nearest skin size when the product manual contradicts this and says to round your ski size down to the nearest skin size.
When I received the skins the TPU tip was hanging over either side of the ski. Customer service instructed me to use the trim tool on the TPU tip. Not too happy with the outcome.
Hi Nick, Thanks for your review. There's a lot of personal preference when it comes to skin coverage, but for length our sizing charts recommends sizing down. We recommend a smaller size since most of your skin’s grip comes from just a few dozen centimeters under the binding. For width we recommend sizing up so you get full coverage underfoot where it counts.
We recommend lining up your skins against your skis before taking the protective Mylar off the glue or doing any trimming to ensure you have the best fit. If you for some reason you have purchased the wrong size you can bring it back to the point of purchase to exchange it for the optimal size.
Purchased new from G3 website in Sept 2020. Good grip, good glide, overall great feeling skins while skiing. However the glue has deteriorated to the point where the skins are barely usable after 30 days of skiing. Skins have always been stored properly and glue is not dirty or lumpy, simply has very little stick. I have submitted for warranty and hope they will be replaced.
Hi Kristofer, thanks for reaching out. I see that your warranty claim was approved and a new pair of skins are on their way to you. Happy touring!
