Having already climbed and skied a million vertical feet in a season, G3 athlete Greg Hill has upped the ante. This winter Greg is on a mission to log 100 ten thousand foot days of ski touring this season. A ten thousand foot day in the backcountry is a large day. It’s 10 000 feet of vertical gain and 10 000 feet of descent. It generally takes Greg between 4 and 7 hours to accomplish one of these days, depending on how much trail breaking and distance that needs to be traveled. Literally with Greg every step of the way are his G3 skins. Greg posts his journal with photos daily. Check out his progress: Greg's Journal

Designed for Woman who Rip

Don’t be fooled by the majority of what you see in the ski magazines. There are women in them thar’ hills, ripping it up and skiing some audacious lines! We know because every time we are in the backcountry we see women charging harder than a lot of men. With these women as our inspiration, G3 developed products specifically for the demanding and skilled female skier.

The Siren is a fat ski designed exclusively for women. The ample dimensions promote float and stability, while its shape responds enthusiastically to lighter skiers’ feel and finesse. The Siren is a smooth snappy board for the experienced alpine touring or telemarking women.

The AVIATRIX is our most versatile women’s model. The compact lengths and sweet, round flex are appropriately softer for its lighter passengers. The AVIATRIX is constructed with the versatile, nomadic attributes of the Baron, rock solid and snappy in the most demanding downhill conditions, while svelte enough for touring.
The G3 TARGA RX and RX T/9 are indestructible light-weight telemark bindings. Both models of the TARGA RX provide adjustable convenience for smaller boot sizes and feature the rear TourThrow.

Whenever there is a discussion about women who ski hard, G3 athlete Martha Burley’s name should be mentioned. Martha is an Australian telemarker competing in international Big Mountain Freeride competitions. Want proof of Martha’s prowess? At Freeride comps Martha is ripping it telemark style but competing against, and on the same level as, women using alpine bindings! More proof? Martha is a wisp of a thing, yet she was competing on the biggest Reverends! Last season Martha placed 2nd in the North American Telemark Extremes, at Crested Butte. In 2005 she won the First Tracks International Freeride event in Chandolin Switzerland. Martha is recognized as one of the top telemark competitors in the world. She discovered skiing in Australia and has been testing gravity around the world, always looking for new mountains and more snow.

Martha skis on the G3 Rapid Transit and Barons, with TARGA Ascent bindings with World Cup cartridges.
